Job Summary: Key responsibilities include-assuring accurate reporting to SEPTA CCT through Share Ride program


  • Fully comprehends, articulates, and reflects in professional practice the mission, vision, and philosophy of North City Congress
  • Maintain an atmosphere of professionalism that is reflected in NCC customer service standards to all senior center members, staff, and customers
  • Assists in maintaining a pleasant, attractive, clean, and safe physical environment at the senior center
  • Knows and follows all center policies and procedures related to daily operations of center using good judgement and problem solving skills
  • Ensures all members sign in on appropriate documents and designate correct arrival and departure mode of transportation
  • Schedules all SEPTA CCT rides (to center, to trips, return home, medical, etc.)
  • Maintain records of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly trips and budget
  • Collects funds and reconciles NCC appropriate SEPTA CCT trip reports
  • Process Accounts Payable and payroll
  • Provides reports to Program Specialist, Center Director and Executive Director when requested
  • Prepares and submits reports for SEPTA CCT Shared Ride Program and PCA
  • Assists Data Clerk and Receptionist as needed
  • Contributes and assists in program improvement initiatives
  • Attends NCC, funder, and organizational meetings and trainings as necessary and integrates new knowledge and skill into position
  • Performs other duties as requested


  • High School Diploma/GED; Associates degree or higher preferred
  • One year experience in an office environment
  • One year experience with SEPTA CCT Shared Ride program
  • Prior experience in customer service
  • Prior experience with Client by Client system
  • Computer literate and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good typing and data entry skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Physical ability to handle movement and lifting items up to 20 pounds
  • Criminal Background Clearance
  • CPR/First Aid Training
  • Bilingual a plus

Working Conditions

  • Position hours: Monday-Friday 7 am-3 pm, with flexibility depending on activities/events/trips
  • Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and other program equipment
  • Travel to NCC work related meeting and appointments
